Eric Cameron Stoltz

Eric Cameron Stoltz was born on 30th September 1961. He is a Golden Globe Actor but is better known for his sensitive misfit roles and for lots of masks, screaming and waterdance types of roles. He is also known for playing the role of a sociopathic criminal in “Killing Zoe”. Eric Stoltz was born in California, Whittier. Mother Evelyn, who was a violinist and a school teacher, died in 1994. His father Jack Stoltz was also an elementary school teacher. Eric has two older sisters named Catherine and Susan, who were born in 1954 and 1957 respectively.
Eric was primarily raised in America Samoa and Santa Barbara, the State of California. He used to make money as a piano player for most of the local musicians in the theater productions. He also attended the University of Southern California where he dropped out in his junior years. In early 1970s Eric joined a repertory company and played in theaters for about plays at the famous Edinburgh Festival held in Scotland. He then managed to return to the United States in 1981 and studied together with Stella Adler and Peggy Feury in New York City. Then he played his first movie called “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” in 1982. He also acted as Marty Fly in the famous “Back To The Future” in 1985 but was replaced after five weeks due to family ties.
Most of the renowned directors such as Robert Zemeckis have considered Stoltz as an admirable performer. In 1980 Stoltz managed to draw attention of most of the audience as a Golden Globe nominee for the famous movies “Mask” and “Some Kind of Wonderful Movie” by John Hughes in 1985. During 1990s Eric went back from staging for television to the movies and managed to build a resume including films like “Pulp Fiction” and “The Waterdance”, which were the most famous movies of 1992. Eric also played the role of a production assistant for movies “Say Anything” and “Singles” and managed to produce a number of Hollywood movies such as “Sleep with me”, and “Mr. Jealousy” in 1994 and in 1997.
He continued to appear in a number of stage programs on Broadway, for example, “The Three Sisters” and “Arms and Man” and he appeared in a number of off stage Broadways, for example, “Sly Fox”, “Our Town” and “The Glass Menagerie”. He was nominated for some of his best performances for the Tony award. He performed a number of roles in television series such as “Mad About You” and “Chicago Hope” in 1998 and 1994. Apart from this he performed a number of Cable movies such as “Inside”, “The passion of Ayn Rand” in 1996 and 1999. Presently he has done a number of movies such as “The House of Mirth” and “Once”, and is still well known for his acting.
